“Totally Right for U en Me”

In the movie “Shrek”, Donkey really made me laugh. His natural talent is to make others happy. Shrek on the other hand is bitter and tough. But not until he began to fall for a lady whose beauty is from within, whose voice is high pitched that it can kill a bird, and whose karate skill is incredibly amazing! J Princess Fiona was her name, a princess seeking for her one true love. However, she didn’t know that her true love was Shrek, the ogre who loved her whole heartedly and wouldn’t ask for anything in return. But that was the climax part only. The story ended up with a happily ever after anyway.
Well, enough with the movie. In my life I only keep what’s true for me. True friends, like donkey and true love, like the love that I have found in my family. Sometimes, True love doesn’t always mean romantic kind of love. True love is unconditional, pure and unending.
“TRUE” for me, is defined as T-totally R-right for U-u E-en me.
Anything that is true will set us free and will make our life worth living. Living with the fact that truth is difficult to find makes it easier with true people that inspires me all the time.

POVERTY: Who is to blame?

Going to places I've never been..
Seeing faces that I've never seen..

As I wander around this small world of trash and recycled bins..
I wonder if the government is doing it's thing..

Left and right I hear babies cry..
hungry tummies, they can't deny..
oh mommies and daddies,
asked God "WHY?"

These simple questions from their simple minds..

The government also has it's faults..
But aren't we the one who makes our choice?

Instead of blaming other people for our misery,
why don't we do something to unleash the mystery..

Poverty is something we can avoid..
Only if we choose to live simply without being paranoid..

Same as the old times..

I just don't know why I rhyme..
Poetically pathetic,
that is my line..

MY SANCTUARY..

I live here in Zamboanga City for 6 years already..
In spite of all the risks of living here,
I still don't wanna go back to where I came from because, I don't find the love, security and justice there..

I feel more secured here with my grandparents
although, we all know that Zamboanga is a bombing prone area and kidnapped cases have become higher every year..

Meanwhile, let's go back to what I've stated in the third sentence of the first paragraph..

You might be asking,
"why do you not find the love, security and justice there?"

First of all,
I used to live with my mother and father, and with my father's parents and my brothers in Batangas..

I don't feel their love because, money can't buy anything that I need yet, it can buy what I want..

Next,
I feel unsecured because my father has a lot of enemies..

Lastly,
I don't see justice when my father's parents and sisters tolerate the wrongdoings of my dad..
It isn't right to bring a mistress in our house..
And it is never right to tell us that she will be our new mom!!

As a result,
I feel happier with my grandparents here in Zamboanga..
Knowing that they love me unconditionally in spite, of all the headaches that I give them..

Indeed,
These reasons are too personal for you to know,
but it only shows that anywhere we go,
our security is always in danger..
But with people you trust and love around..
You'll never feel unsecured..

kids love sponge bob.. i know that, cause even i do too..^^
He is so naive, but that's just why i love him..^^

My lolo scolds me whenever he sees me watching cartoon or anime movies..
But I just couldn't help it..^^

Lolo tells me that watching cartoons or animes can affect my focus..
Due to it's fast changing of scenes, I might lose my focus on what I am doing in reality..
Lolo did a research about that..
I know!
cause he just want to change the channel and watch action packed movies in HBO!
(wicked!)

Anyway,
I hope you know Casper the friendly ghost..
cause Casper is like, my long time crush..
I know this may sound crazy but I'm not joking..XD

Casper the friendly ghost is my favorite movie..
although it's a fictional movie..
Still,
I learned the important lesson of appreciating people who values us..
(isn't it sweet?)

MOTHER

I have two mothers..
My mommy and my mama..

My mama is like the opposite of my very feminine mommy..

mama Michelle is my biological mom..
and mommy Lorna is my grandmother..

My mama left me with my grandparents since I was 6 months old..

I grew up with my ever protective grandparents and until now, I'm still with them..

Mommy is so graceful..
She's caring, loving, God-fearing, wonderful, amazing and almost the perfect mom..
(gosh! I'm so sip2x.. niahaha!)

She is strict but I understand her..
ofcourse,
raising a beautiful lady like me,
needs a little tightening in protection and security..
(I'm just being ambitious.. niahaha!XD)

Mama believes that I should be out to explore the world..
She's not that strict but I think that's just how she catches up with me..

Mama is an outgoing person,
while mommy would prefer to stay at home..

But even if their interests won't collide,
I am so grateful to have 2 mothersn my life..

They inspire me to do my best in everything..
I love them both, and I will love them 'til I grow old..

They are like my barkada..
I tell them my secrets and everything..
'Cause I believe that..
mothers knows best.. hehe!XD

So, to all the children out there who complains about their
"MACHINE GUN MOUTH" moms..

Just keep up the good work!

Let me share with you a little something about myself..
Let's start with a short introduction..

I am Mika "the music lover" Panganiban..
I am 15 years young.. hehe!xp

whenever I see a book,
I get dizzy!@_@
It's thick width and small letters makes my eyes intersect at some point..
haha!
just kiddin'..

But really,
I'm not into reading books..
unless it's necessary..
and/or if I really don't have anything to do..

But if getting bored is the situation,
reading a book is an option..

I'd rather lay down on my bed covered with blue princess' bed shit!
(i mean sheet..XD)
and listen to music..
Than just sit on a thinking chair, reading a History book!
